A delegation of researchers from FMC Corporation paid an official visit to the Agricultural Research Center of Madda Walabu University to observe ongoing research activities and explore future areas of collaboration.

The visiting team, consisting of ten members, was led by Chemtex Private Limited. FMC Corporation, whose headquarters is located in the United States, is internationally recognized for its work in the production and development of agricultural pesticides and crop protection technologies.

The team highly appreciated the achievements and ongoing research activities being conducted by the center in the areas of agricultural development and innovation.

Following the field visit, both parties held a constructive discussion focusing on the research potential and institutional capacity of the Agricultural Research Center. 

The discussion also emphasized future plans and opportunities for collaboration between FMC Corporation and Madda Walabu University in agricultural research, technology transfer, and capacity-building initiatives.

On the occasion, the President of Madda Walabu University, Dr. Berhanemeskel Tena, delivered a welcoming message to the visiting team. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation for the visit and highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships with international institutions to enhance agricultural research and innovation.

The visit concluded with mutual understanding and commitment to further discussions aimed at establishing long-term collaborative engagement between the two institutions.
